The Pickleball Pad is excited to announce that we have come to terms on a new partnership with Dimitry Philipchenko. Effective immediately, Dimitry will be a regular presence at our flagship location at 3485 North Service Road in Burlington Ontario (B TOWN COURTS Burlington).
Dimitry has been playing pickleball for over 7 years, with previous experience in tennis. He was introduced to the game by his father, and quickly became addicted. Since then he has achieved success playing both at the 4.5 and open levels, most recently achieving two bronze medals at the Canadian Nationals 2022 and third place in the High Sports Canadian Cash Cup 2023. He is currently committed to the draft event for the CNPL (Canadian National Pickleball League).
Dimitry has been an instructor with the Pickleball Hamilton Association and enjoys helping both recreational and competitive players hone their skills. He has ample experience directing clinics and lessons for all levels all over Ontario. (Hamilton, Burlington, Grimsby, Milton).
Dimitry will be developing more enhanced programming schedules - including leagues, learn-to-play, beginner/advanced clinics, and other events - for the near and long term.
